Removal
Vehicles equipped with dual voice microphones

Lower the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Release the tabs and remove the voice microphones.
Vehicles equipped with a single voice microphone
-
Lower the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector, release the tabs and remove the microphone.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Other information:
Bring the engine to normal operating temperature. Connect
the Vacuum/Pressure Tester to the intake manifold. Run the engine at the
specified idle speed.
The vacuum gauge should read between 51-74 kPa (15-22 in-Hg)
depending upon the engine condition and the altitude at which the test
is conducted. Subtract 4.0193 kPa (1 in-Hg) from the specified reading
for every..
Removal

Make sure that all openings are sealed.

If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
