Lincoln Navigator: Full Frame and Body Mounting / Trailer Hitch. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the rear bumper cover.
   Refer to: Rear Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connector, disengage the retainers from trailer hitch and position aside the wiring harness.
   

1. 1. Remove the trailer hitch bolts.
      Torque: 203 lb.ft (275 Nm)
   2. Remove the trailer hitch retainers.
      
   3. Remove the trailer hitch.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
