Lincoln Navigator: Wipers and Washers / Rain Sensor. Removal and Installation
Removal
-
Remove the trim cover.

Detach the clips and lower the trim cover.

Disconnect the passenger airbag deactivation module electrical connector and remove the trim cover.

Disconnect the rain sensor electrical connector.
-
Pull outward on the clips and remove the rain sensor.
Installation
-
Clean the windshield glass area.
-
NOTE:
If the rain sensor gel pack is damaged, install a new rain sensor.
Inspect the rain sensor gel pack for damage.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Repair
NOTE:
This procedure may be carried out on rubber hoses only. If a
plastic washer hose is damaged, a new washer hose must be installed.
Locate and verify the damaged washer hose...
