Removal

Remove the wheel knuckle.
Refer to: Wheel Knuckle (204-01B Front Suspension - LHD 4WD, Removal and Installation).

Remove and discard the lower ball joint snap ring.

Remove the ball joint from the lower arm.
Use Special Service Tool: 204-358
Remover/Installer, Ball Joint.

Installation

Install the ball joint into the lower arm.
Use Special Service Tool: 204-358
Remover/Installer, Ball Joint.

NOTE:
Make sure the ball joint snap ring is fully seated.
Install the new lower ball joint snap ring.

Install the wheel knuckle.
