Lincoln Navigator: Instrument Panel and Console / Instrument Panel Center Finish Panel. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. 
   Release the clips and emove the center finish panel.
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. 
   Remove the bolts and the shifter module.
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     

1. Remove the FDIM .
   Refer to: Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 4, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Release the clips and remove the upper RH instrument panel finish panel.
   

1. 
   Remove the bolts and the instrument panel center finish panel.
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. 1. Seat both sides of the instrument panel center finish panel around the GSM .
      
   2. Seat the passenger side of the instrument panel center finish panel.
      
   3. Seat the center right of the instrument panel center finish panel.
      
   4. Seat the center left of the instrument panel center finish panel.
      
   5. Verify the GSM P (Park) and D (Drive) buttons move without interference.
