Lincoln Navigator: Second Row Seats / Second Row Single Seat Cushion Cover. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LH side shown, RH similar.

1. Remove the second row seat.
   Refer to: Second Row Seat (501-10B Second Row Seats, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Release the retainers and remove the recline handle cover.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Remove screw and the recline handle.
   

1. 
   Remove the second row seat side shield.
   
   1. Remove the screws.
      
   2. Release the retainers.
      

1. 
   Remove the second row seat cushion pivot arm cover.
   
   1. Remove the screw.
      
   2. Release the retainers.
      

1. If equipped.
   Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.
   
   • Release the retainers.
     

1. Release the second row single seat cushion cover J-clips.
   

1. Remove the second row single seat cushion cover and foam as an assembly.
   

1. NOTICE: Use care when separating the cushion cover from the hook-and-arrows, or the hooks can be torn from the cushion foam.

   NOTICE: Use care when separating the cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strips or the hook-and -loop strips may be torn from the cushion foam.

   NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

   
   Remove the second row single seat cushion cover.
   
   1. Invert the second row single seat cushion cover.
      
   2. Release the hook and loop strips.
      
   3. Release the hook and arrows.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
