The
power door lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors and liftgate,
and fuel filler door (if equipped) upon a request from an interior
door lock control switch, keyless entry keypad, passive entry system,
valid programmed key (RKE
transmitter), or mechanical key in the driver door lock cylinder. The
power door locking system functions independently of the ignition status
or vehicle speed.
The key (RKE transmitter) provides a button for the remote start feature.
The RKE exterior sounder provides lock/unlock and power liftgate open/close request confirmation.
If
equipped with a fuel filler door lock, the fuel filler door lock
operates when the driver door lock is electronically activated.
