Lincoln Navigator: Interior Trim and Ornamentation / A-Pillar Trim Panel. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the A-pillar passenger assist handle bolt covers.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Remove the bolts and the A-pillar passenger assist handle.
   Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

1. 
   Remove the A-pillar trim panel.
   
   1. Release the upper clip.
      
   2. Release the lower A-pillar to instrument panel bracket tabs.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Inspect and position the front door weather strip lip so that it overlaps the top of the A-pillar trim panel.
