Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the second row center seat backrest cover.
    Refer to: Second Row Center Seat Backrest Cover (501-10B Second Row Seats, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the second row center seatbelt retractor.
    1. Remove and discard the nut.
      Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
    1. Feed the seatbelt through the seatbelt guide.

Installation

NOTE: During installation, make sure the seatbelt webbing is not twisted and the seatbelts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Check the seatbelt system for correct operation.

    Removal

    NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

    With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

    NOTICE: Do not use power tools to remove or install the stabilizer bar
