Lincoln Navigator: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Rear Spoiler. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

Open the liftgate.

NOTE:
For clarity Liftgate is not shown.
Position the liftgate opening weather-strip aside.

NOTE:
For clarity Liftgate is not shown.
Release the clips and remove the liftgate opening upper trim panel.
-
Disconnect the spoiler electrical harness.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Detach the electrical harness retainer.
-
Disconnect the rear window washer hose connection.
-
Release the wiring harness grommet and route the spoiler harness out from vehicle.
-
Open the liftgate window.
-
Remove the spoiler to liftagate window retainers.
Torque:
15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

Remove the spoiler mounting fasteners.
-
Remove the nuts.
Torque:
12 lb.in (1.3 Nm)
-
Using a screwdriver, lift the spoiler while releasing the retainer tabs.
-
Remove the spoiler.
Installation

To reinstall, reverse the removal procedure.
