Lincoln Navigator: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Power Running Board (PRB) Hinge. Removal and Installation
Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

LH side shown, RH side similar.
NOTE:
Support the running board with a jackstand.

Disconnect the electrical connection.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)
-
Remove the running board mounting screws.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Remove the torque rod mounting screw.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)
-
Remove the hinge mounting nuts.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)
-
Disengage the torque rod and remove the bracket assembly.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

Bring the engine to normal operating temperature. Connect
the Vacuum/Pressure Tester to the intake manifold. Run the engine at the
specified idle speed.
The vacuum gauge should read between 51-74 kPa (15-22 in-Hg)
depending upon the engine condition and the altitude at which the test
is conducted...
