Remove the rear running board bracket.
Refer to: Power Running Board (PRB) Hinge (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the screw.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Remove the connecting rod.
