Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the direct injection fuel rail LH and RH side.
    Refer to: Direct Injection Fuel Rail LH (303-04A Fuel Charging and Controls - 3.5L EcoBoost (272kW/370PS), Removal and Installation).

  1. Disconnect the KS electrical connector.
  1. Remove the bolts and the KS .
    Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

    Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the rear camber.
