Draining

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

Remove the rear axle fluid drain plug and allow the axle fluid to drain.
Filling
-
Install the rear axle fluid drain plug.
Torque:
18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
-
Remove the rear axle fluid fill plug.
-
Fill the differential with clean differential gear lubricant.
Refer to: Specifications (205-02B)

Install the rear axle fluid fill plug.
Torque:
18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
