Lincoln Navigator: Hydraulic Brake Actuation / Brake Fluid Reservoir. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the EBB .
Refer to: Electric Brake Booster (EBB) (206-09 Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control, Removal and Installation).

Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.

Remove the brake fluid reservoir filter and remove the brake fluid.
-
Remove the screws and the brake fluid reservoir.
Torque:
23 lb.in (2.6 Nm)

NOTE:
Brake fluid reservoir mounting screws and the
sealing washers are supplied with the brake fluid reservoir kit.
Ensure that old brake fluid reservoir sealing washers
are removed before installing a new reservoir with new washers.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
This step is only necessary if installing a new brake fluid reservoir.
Install the new brake fluid reservoir washers supplied
with brake fluid reservoir kit on the reservoir before installing the
reservoir.

Fill the reservoir with clean, specified brake fluid.
