Lincoln Navigator: Body Closures / Liftgate Hinge. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE: Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Remove the liftgate.
Refer to: Liftgate (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).

Lower the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the fasteners and liftgate hinge.

Installation
NOTE: Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Install the liftgate hinge and fasteners.
Torque: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)

Install the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Install and align the liftgate.
Refer to: Liftgate (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).
