Overview

Driver Power Seat

The driver power seat is available with either a 10, 24 or 30-way power adjustable memory seat.

The memory system allows automatic positioning of the driver seat to 1 of 3 programmable positions. For information on programming memory positions or recalling a stored memory position, refer to the Owner's Literature.

The 10-way driver memory seat is equipped with the following motors:

  • Front height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Front seat track motor (serviced separately from the seat track assembly)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Lumbar motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 24-way and 30-way driver memory seat is equipped with the following motors:

  • Front head restraint motors (up/down and forward/rearward) (serviced with front head restraint)
  • LH and RH front seat cushion extension adjuster motors (serviced as an assembly)
  • Front height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Front seat track motor (serviced separately from the seat track assembly)
  • Upper backrest pivot motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Lumbar motor (if not equipped with multi-contour seats) (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

Passenger Power Seat

The passenger power seat is available with either a 10, 24 or 30-way power adjustable seat.

The 10-way passenger power seat is equipped with the following motors:

  • Front height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Front seat track motor (serviced separately from the seat track assembly)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Lumbar motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 24-way and 30-way passenger memory seat allows for automatic positioning of the passenger seat to 1 of 3 programmable positions. For information on programming memory positions or recalling a stored memory position, refer to the Owner's Literature. The 24-way and 30-way passenger memory seat is equipped with the following motors:

  • Front head restraint motors (up/down and forward/rearward) (serviced with front head restraint)
  • LH and RH front seat cushion extension adjuster motors (serviced as an assembly)
  • Front height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with seat track assembly)
  • Front seat track motor (serviced separately from the seat track assembly)
  • Upper backrest pivot motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with seat backrest assembly)
  • Lumbar motor (if not equipped with multi-contour seats) (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

If equipped, the redundant front passenger seat control switch (located on the passenger rear door trim panel) can position the passenger front seat forward/backward and also adjust the recline position.

Heated/Ventilated Seats

This system allows on-demand, independent, electrical heating/venting of each front seat.

The heated/ventilated seat system consists of the following components:

  • Seat cushion heater mat
  • Seat backrest heater mat
  • Blower motor, located within each front seat cushion and backrest
  • FCIM (includes heated/ventilated seat buttons)
  • SCME , integral to the DSM
  • SCMF , integral to the SCMB
  • Cushion and backrest vent bags (part of the cushion and backrest foam)
  • Cushion and backrest foam
  • Cushion and backrest trim covers

Multi-Contour Seat Feature

This system allows on demand independent lumbar adjustment and/or massage of each front seat. PMI is required when a new SCMG or SCMH is installed.

The multi-contour front seat system consists of the following components:

  • SCMG , attached to the backrest of the front driver seat (serviced with the front seat power lumbar assembly)
  • SCMH , attached to the backrest of the front passenger seat (serviced with the front seat power lumbar assembly)
  • FDIM (touchscreen) (includes multi-contour seat buttons)
  • Front seat cushion adjuster (attached to each front seat frame) (includes 4 inflatable air bladders, control module and hoses)
  • Front seat cushion bolster (includes 2 inflatable air bladders and hoses)
  • Front seat backrest bolster (includes 2 inflatable air bladders and hoses)
  • Front seat power lumbar assembly (attached to each front seat backrest) (includes 3 inflatable air bladders, control module and hoses)
  • Front seat backrest adjuster (includes 10 inflatable air bladders, control module and hoses)
  • Front multi-contour control pump (includes air pump and hoses)
