Lincoln Navigator: Climate Control System - General Information / Driver Side Register. Removal and Installation
Removal

Detach the clips and remove the lower steering column opening cover.
 |

Detach the clips and remove the instrument panel lower side trim panel.
 |
-
Detach the clips and remove the instrument panel upper side trim panel.
 |
-
Remove the bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the register and switch panel assembly.
Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
 |

Release the top retaining clips.
 |
-
Release the retaining clips along the bottom and remove the driver side register.
 |
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.
