Removal
NOTE:

Remove the console front trim panel.

Remove the screws and the console side trim panels.

Remove the screws and position the HVAC controls and trim panel aside.

Remove the screws and position the console center panel aside.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the screw and the brake shift interlock override switch.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Activation
NOTE:
The following steps should be used when the engine will crank but not start.
NOTE:
If the vehicle has a discharged battery, an external power
source is required...

Preliminary Inspection
Visually inspect the CV joints, housing, boots, and clamps for obvious signs of mechanical damage.
If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is
found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next
step
